Diablo II D2 Loader issue help please!?

Ok, my expansion disc is scratched beyond belief, so i downloaded a cd image of it online. I have a legit expansion b.net key. I installed regular diablo II with legit key, than expansion, then it asked to upgrade from multiplayer to full on expansion. i did all that. I updated to version 1.12 via the file from blizzard.com Then i put in D2 Loader 1.12 in the diablo II folder. When i click it it says "Couldn't load Diablo 2 MPQ files. Please insert your Diablo II disc. I use daemon tools to mount the cd image file. The D2 loader works when the cd image is mounted, but when it's not it asks to insert diablo II disc. Any solutions? Could i try copying the mpqs straight from the diablo II cd and overwrite them on my harddrive? Also when it says insert Diablo II disc does it mean Diablo II? Or LOD?

Don't know much about the other stuff, but I DO know that Blizzard does not reference things... Whenever they talk about the Lord of Destruction expansion, they take the time to type out the entire name. So it's talking about your Diablo II disk.

Sorry I couldn't help you more :P

It's important to realize that although spaces may be 'randomly' built, there is design to that randomness; programmers had to tell the computer how to randomly generate maps. Let's use Blizzard's Diablo as an example: if the dungeons we hacked our way through were truly random, we would have encountered instances that would have prevented us from ever getting to the 'stairs down' – the passage to the next level.

And, to give you an answer ro your final question, yes; I would most certainly say that a randomly generated environment would have less meaning and metaphor than one designed by an intelligent organism. Of course, the player can infuse their own meaning into and extract their own message out of each of the spaces, but, it is no doubt the potential for uncovering and creating such things would be much greater had an intelligent agent been behind its design.
