How do I remove drtl107 and drtl109? (Diablo/Battle.net 1.07*1.09 patches)?
I was having problems with the game Diablo. Everything I was reading to fix the problems pointed to getting an update for it. I was to update to version 1.07 (Updating file named drtl107) then to v1.09, (file named drtl109). Well, I tried it, and it still didn't work.. And so I go to delete them, and it says the file is currently in use, and I cannot delete them. =/
I've tried closing processes in the Task Manager like Explorer.exe, and then tried to delete them, and they still refused to be deleted.
Anyone got a solution?
I'd rather not download anything to remove them, a lot of scanners nowadays have virus's on them. I just can't trust them, so.. If anyone knows of a way to delete the files without me having to downloading anything, that'd be great. =)
The only way to undo game patches is to remove the complete game program ( add/remove programs in control panel ) then reinstall from the original disks which will likely solve all your issues also.
