I’ll give a +1 for Titan Quest. Cheap Diablo clone that manages to surpass even Diablo 2. Unique dual class leveling system offering an enormous amount of options. Highly recommended.
How is this not a ripoff of Diablo 3? Look at the first shot. It has an identical layout.
I haven't thought about this for a long time, but I can't imagine my list not including City of Heroes, but I noticed you don't have an MMORPG on your list at all — are they barred from the list?
By the way, I think my list would start at “Bard's Tale”, would include “Star Control 2″. And “Diablo 2″ would make an appearance. Plus both “Carmageddon” for the best LAN parties ever. But I'd have a hard time not including “Half-Life” or “Doom”….ugh.
This is gonna be a tough list.
