getting my Diablo 2 cd key?
heyy i need help, my buddy gave me his D2 expansion set including lord of destruction i have a cd key for that but, he left out the cd key for the D2, is there a possible way to extract the files. I attempted to use a different cd key and it wont allow me to cause its from a different productm, should i use a a key finder or should i just give it back to him? idk how old it is but hes has it for sometime now and i decided to download it but i cant, ive met the system requirements

this is a common problem, actually. It's because of windows 7 or vista
Right click the icon and find the tab that talks about compatibility and stuff
Check off "disable visual themes" as well as "disable desktop composition" and run it in windows xp compatibility mode.
I had a similar problem and this fixed it.
Don't listen to that other guy, it'll mess up your computer.
