Diablo 2 Gameplay
I'm considering purchasing the Diablo series of PC games, but I want to know how it compares to other RPG's?
Please read the following and tell me how you think Diablo compares to what I have played in terms of gameplay. i am sure the graphics are superior and the realms are probably much larger than any of the consoles.
My experience with RPG's is all NES, PS1, and PS2 related. I got into the Dragon Warrior and Final fantasy series and have completed every one. I also have gotten into The Secret of Mana, The 7th Saga, Drakkhen, Might & Magic, Suikoden 1, 2, & 3, etc, etc.
Other games in the strategy genre include Front Mission and a host of others I can't remember at this time.
My only PC gaming experience is with Silent Hunter: Wolves Of The Pacific.

Diablo is not like those other RPGs. Those you listed are all Japanese RPGs. Diablo is an Action RPG. It doesn't have the same type of combat system or inventory or story line, either. So there is a chance you won't love it. I do, I've played Diablo 1 and 2 all the way through Hell.
