Let’s see.. played the first final fantasy online.. I remember hating it. I remember it being clunky, hard to control, annoying and for the love of god the rabbit of death and giving up on it because literally it looked pretty but that was about it. A game can’t get by just by looking pretty. Fast forward to my recent stint in the ff14 beta which at this point pretty much premotional/playtest stage just because how soon the release date is going. It looks really pretty! Still.. it’s hard to control, clunky and just kinda throwing story and good looks at me to try and ignore the gameplay is boring! It’s not just Spoony who thinks FF14 is at best lackluster.
