Diablo 2 Ladder
In diablo 2 which is better a ladder or non ladder character?
Once you choose to be in the ladder can you change back? Can a ladder character play with a non ladder character?
No you can't switch between the two at will, and Yes you can play with the other class.
The only real difference between ladder and non-ladder is that ladder characters are ranked based off of experiance earned. It's simliar to the ladder system they use in all manner of sports playoffs, those characters who are stronger and more experianced (or people who spend wayyyyy too much time on the computer if you choose to look at it that way) are at the top, and the rest are at the bottom.
Other than that, their's no difference in anything. They find the same equipment, fight the same monsters, have the same skill set, get the same amount of gold dropped, etc....
Ladder is mainly about bragging rights (for what little it's worth).

Diablo 2 is Very good, its quite old now, so the graphics aren't top dog, if you know what i mean.
you Don't have to pay monthly, the only fee you pay is buying the game.
Blizzard have annouced Diablo 3, but there isn't a release date for it yet, you can visit diablo 3 website, and view a trailer, the graphics are btter than diablo 2.
Im not sure of the file size sorry, i don't think its alot though, maybe some google research will maybe sort that out.
I had a slight moment of panic, but then I remembered the Diablo 2 ladder reset and just went with that drug instead.
