Help, video card kaput?
My girlfriend and I were just playing multiplayer Diablo 2 when it crashed on her computer and a windows error message suddenly flashed up saying 'your display driver has ceased to function' and now the computer keeps resetting itself and won't even engage into safe mode.
It's an old computer, just wondered if anyone could tell us if the video card has given up the ghost and she needs to replace it?
She's removed the extra 1GB of Ram she installed today to see if that was causing the problem and she's able to get to windows, but the screen is very bright and the colours are weird now.
The computer has inbuilt video memory (VIA S3G KM400) that uses shared system RAM as well.
the drivers for you video card it not functioning properly. if you can't log back in to window or it won't let you boot up properly. you can either reinstall a fresh copy of windows or upgrade you video card.

Can i run diablo 2 on my laptop with vista?
i have windows vista, and i can't run diablo 2 on it.
i right clicked it and set it to run as administrator and i set the compatibility mode to windows xp, but it still doesn't work. what can i do?
The truth is that Vista won't run on older games, specifically those older games that were not designed to work with Vista. That's really the problem with the OS, I suggest that newer games currently being released are probably designed to work on Vista. Hope you get this right.
