Is there any way to run median xl and diablo 2 on your computer?

I’ll never be done with MMOs, but I can wait. Played nearly every MMO though only successfully maxing out in WoW (6/6 in Sunwell, Marshal in Pre-BC, 1950 Arenas 3v3 during the Season 3 catastrophe, in my first attempt, which turned me off from ever doing Arenas again) and SWG (Got a Jedi, played to my heart’s content, played 20 classes). Since WoW, there has been nothing, no innovation, nothing new, all the hype has amounted to nothing. I wanted an MMO that engaged with a story and lore (like EQ1 did for me) or its utter immersion (SWG and Ultima if I had been around for the old one, current one is awful). The only things I’ve liked have been Huxley, Global Agenda and Vindictus, they’re interesting, but they’re not MMOs, MMOs are open world and persistant, they’re essentially nothing but instanced mini games with a lobby. I want an open world that I can fucking interact with, WoW offered the gameplay, but lacks any sense of immersion. I’ve been thinking about EQ2, but nobody should ever SoE for any reason or for any reason. I can go on about what they can improve, but I dont want to, so I will offer this one piece of advice, aimed especially at the EvE enthusiasts. Your game is on the verge of being destroyed if one of the upcoming MMOs is good. After CU and NGE and Tabula Fuckstorm, EvE became the sole game in town for Sci Fi games. Everything else that has been released has been broken, awful, patched to death, or shut down. You are like Ultima Online, where UO was a pile of shit for a game, with full loot pvp and loads of ganking, but people played it, because it was the only game in town. Then EQ showed up and pretty much wiped out most of its playerbase on top of its retarded patches. Think about it, Firefall, WoW’s new MMO whom they’ve been hiring nothing but Sci-Fi artists for, Warhammer 40K online, The Old Republic, Black Prophecy, etc… If any one of these is decently good, it’ll cause most of your population to drop. I could be wrong, but people hate surprise ganking, they hate having their shit stolen, they hate losing hours of effort. Its why Hardcore Diablo 2 has about 1 person on it, its why they added safe zones to UO, you all might ALL be hardcore players on EvE, but probably half your game will die because theres a Sci Fi alternative that is BETTER. I’m guessing this is the reasoning for DUST512 because they need to do something otherwise they’ll be crushed and the game will start its slow, inevitable decline to 100+ subscribers.
