“What is Blizzard afraid of, I wonder?”
I don't think they're afraid of anything. What do they have to be afraid of? They have WoW continually trucking along, an expansion hitting within the next few months that will give months of retention. Not to mention Diablo 3 and Starcraft 2 in production which are both giganticly anticipated ips.
I'd bet it's more like “Just how many subscribers CAN we get?” Who cares about uniques…multiboxers are another $14.99 a month.
