Can someone explain Diablo II battlenet to me?
It claims hundreds of thousands of games in progress, but all I see are a few I can join. Also, I need to know what that "ladder" stuff is all about. Thanks
The games you can see to join are limited by several factors.
The first of which is which difficulty your character has completed. You will only see games of the highest difficulty you can play.
Secondly you see games on your server I.E. USEast
Third brings in your ladder issue, you will only see ladder or non-ladder games depending on which your character is.
Finally, you are only going to see either soft-core (normal play) or hardcore games, depending if you have made a hardcore character.
Regarding what ladder is, it is a ranked system of play that keeps track of the highest level characters. You can see these by clicking the ladder button when your connected to the battle,net main page. If you make a character in ladder you have access to more items and rune-words than non-ladder so I would recommend doing this. The only problem is, eventually that ladder will be "reset" and your ladder character will be converted into non-ladder. Thus freeing up the new ladder for a whole new competition.

Diablo 2: Lod, I installed diablo, after like 2 months of not using it, and i cant get on battlenet?
I own the game, i have the CD key. So i installed the game again, but when i try to go on battle net it says "this CD key is being used by WOLFGANG" but im wolfgang, so how do i get it to realize its me, and not someone else?
Try making a new account. On warcraft 3 bnet you can always make multiple accounts. But if it's linked to your serial code then contact Blizzard.
