Diablo Blizzard Patch
will i ever be able to play Xp games on vista?
i have some old games that i used to play on XP (i.e diablo 2 neverwinternights)
but when i upgraded to vista they didnt work is their a patch or something i can use
i knwo theyr are new games out their designed for vista but you cant go wrong with playing some nice old games
also is D3 ever comming out or is blizzard just quitting that project
I know where u come from. my first vista experience was a grueling 4 hour battle to install everquest. however, because of the problems with vista, jsut as there were problems when xp came out, thought not many coming from 2000, and when 98, and so on..... back to the point: people will gradually let microsoft know of these issues, system specs will be noted, and microsoft will work to correct these problems. until then, the best way is to search for other people having the same specific problems. what i did for my battle was searched miticulously through forums..
and as far as d3, sc2 kinda was this past years big project, along with keeping with WoW updates and soon the ROLK expansion and its soon to be found glitches. personally i'm expecting around winter of next year, but prolly summer '09

help! diablo 2 compatability issues on windows 7?
hey guys i just bought a brand new laptop with windows 7 64bit and i tried to install diablo 2 but after it downloaded and i clicked the game it told me i had compatibility issues. i looked it up online and alot of people say "run as administrator" but it does nothing. Blizzard wants me to download some Patch but i cant seem to find it. any help would be grateful. Thanks!
The game is quite old and I think it was optimized for Windows 98 but it may be possible to run it on Windows 7. Try running it on Windows XP compatability mode. Here's more info to help you.> http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/download.aspx
