DIablo 2 to Diablo 2 LOD Character Transfer?
I understand that you can transfer characters over from Diablo 2 to Diablo 2 LOD. However, will you keep ALL your items, and ALL you character things ON your character?
Yes. The only thing that changes when you switch your character to Expansion is a new map is added, and a set of new quests/items/npc's, ect ect. You will not lose any of the gear that is currently on the character, or in the stash.

How do I transfer a character on Diablo 2 from my desktop to my laptop?
I have a flash drive so I can transfer files, but where exactly do I find the files and is there more than one I need? Thanks much.
It is located in your install directory which is by default c:program filesdiablo II and then the save folder.
This folder contains all of your diablo II character save files.
Each character consists of anywhere from 1 to 7 files, copy these files and put them into the same directory on your laptop via your usb drive.
I tried to put this in the simplest terms as possible, hope it helps.
PS: Basically go to my computer, click on the hard drive(usually C: drive), go to folder program files, then the save folder.

What really bothers me about the game is the recent lack of flavour to support the lore.
Bunch of us did that after Beta…WAY back…unfortuneately I MUCH preferred Horde…better racials…
Haven't seen it LATELY, but akin to the 'Naked' Diablo characters, someone was attempting to make 'Naked' WoW characters…the general gist was to create a basic character and never use equipment…see if you could level that way…
If memory serves, Hunter was the one class they were able to do to 60? Been a while since I read anything on it…and that may have all changed…
Oh…Barrens get HELLA boring after a VERY short while though as Horde **grin**
