Diablo Ii Macbook Pro
Best way to run Diablo II on macbook pro?
So I just got Diablo II on my macbook pro and I play it aaannnd it's pretty laggy. I don't know if it's my hardware or the game. My mac is running the most recently updated OSX so it doesn't support the classic environment anymore. This results in my not being able to install Diablo I, and for some reason, won't accept the Lord of Destruction expansion CD. However, in the LOD expansion, I got it installed by clicking "Lord of Destruction Full Install" on the regular Diablo 2 install cd and it all works fine.
when I play the game, it asks for me to put the LOD cd before it will let me play the game, which is what ever because I have the cd, but it makes me wonder if because the game is reading off the cd, it is therefor slower than I want it to be. Or perhaps the slowness I'm getting is because the game is from the G3 era and my intel mac doesn't know what to do with it.
Any insight on my problem/ tips on how to get this classic game running on my laptop would be awesome!
