Diablo Mod
will a diablo tuner work in my truck if i put after market exhaust,headers,inktake?
i thought about getting my a diablopredator.. if i add my aftermarket mods will it still tune good.. thanks guys
sounds like a good program - but usually you would retune the engine after modifications especially after you install CAI and the exhaust (as your engine will then be able to handle more aggressive settings/ better use higher octane).
if you are using a pro shop to do the modifications, since the predator can do a custom tune (in addition to "standard enhancement") get the pro shop to do the tune with the predator.
2 other things about your program 1)along with the CAI, you might want to consider installing a bigger throttle body.2)if available for your engine - performance underdrive pulleys.
i did exactly the same program as you on my last car (01 mustang gt), and i was really pleased with the tune the predator provided and overall power enhancement.
and my existing car has been custom tuned with a predator.
