How much is my computer worth?
My computer is like 1 month old... Clean Install of Windows XP
Case: ABS EL DIABLO Full Tower
Mobo: ASUS M3A78-CM
Graphics: EGVA 9800 GTX+
Wireless: ENCORE ENLWI-N IEEE 802.11b/g
CPU: AMD 9600 QUAD CORE
Hard Drive: Western Digital 160 GB
RAM: OCZ Platinum 4 GB DDR2 1066
Power Supply: Cooler Master 460 Watt
CD Drive: Sony Basic CD Drive
OS: Windows XP Home Service Pack 2
Peripherals: Microsoft 1000 Wireless Keyboard/Mouse, Saitek X52 Fight Controls, Logitech Headset
Extra Software: COD 5, X-Plane 9, Office 2007
I would guess around $550-$650, maybe $700 wit all the peripherals. Your parts are decent, plus you've got Office 2007 on there. The CPU isn't the greatest though.

How can I increase performance playing games on a mac with OS X?
I have an old blue and white mac and i put diablo on it but its to choppy to play I just end up getting killed...
A Blue & White Mac? Would that be the G3 "tower" with the cool handles on top? Not an iMac? I'll go with that since your chances of upgrading successfully to game-level performance are much better with the tower than with the iMac.
Blue & White G3 was built in 1999 and processor speeds ranged from 300-450MHz. Maximum RAM is 1GB. Standard video card was ATI Rage 128 with 16MB of memory. To have fairly good game performance, you should not only upgrade to at least 512MB RAM and at least 64MB video RAM but also upgrade the processor. The maximum speed this box can get from a processor is about 900MHz. That's because most Mac motherboards limit the processor speed to about 9 times the bus speed and this one is 100MHz bus. Any faster processor upgrade will not make it faster. It will just show around 900-940MHz. The link below offers a couple of processor upgrades. G4 processors run about 30% faster than same clock speed G3s.
Is it worth the money to do this? Unless you just love this old beast (unique in that it came with ADB ports plus Firewire and USB onboard), get a second-hand PowerMac G4 "Gigabit Ethernet" or later model Mac from $500 up. Avoid the Mirror Drive Door model unless you can be sure it got the power supply and fan upgrade.
