Diablo Play Disc Message
My CD-Drive won't read any disks.?
Today, I tried to install Oblivion, only to get the enjoyable message of my computer can't handle it. So I uninstalled it. Later on, my friend gave me Diablo II to play, and for some reason, whenever I go into My Computer to download Diablo II from he CD-Drive, it says it's Oblivion. It does this for every disk I put in. If I have a disk out of my laptop, it's fine. But any disk I put in, for some reason it thinks it's Oblivion. I really want play Diablo II, so please tell me what I can do.
Find the brand name and model number of your DVD/CD drive (Should be able to right click My Computer from the start menu > Properties > Hardware Tab > Device Manager > Disc Drives) Type the brand name and model number in to Google like this > "Brand Name" "Model Number" "Firmware" "Update" (With out the quotation marks) and you should be able to find the firmware upgrade for it and how to install the upgrade. Hope this helps.

How to play diablo 2 without the disk
Diablo 1 crashes when loading?
I installed Diablo today (I actually have the disk), and whenever I try and start the game it gets part way through the first video and then freezes. If I skip the video, it still crashes. I have tried with some combinations of compatibility/256 colors/640x480. If you know why, please let me know.
I am running Windows XP fully updated and the error message is the generic message about "Diablo has encountered a problem and needs to close." Any questions or anything, just ask and I'll respond.
Please help, as I really want to play this game.
