its been awhile since i beat it and this is the most difficult part of the game. you have to make 'swing' ALL the balls into the electricity until there is a electrical barrier around you then you shoot the creature, a hook type thing descends from the center of the ceiling above the gun, its difficult to see and you have to get out of the gun thingy and run back far enough to throw your grapple to pull it down…the problem is as you well know you have to battle him, time swinging the balls into the electricity and jump from the gun to throw your grapple….its all timing and very tight timing at that….one thing you can use the gun to grab and throw the creature into the electrical fields on the sides which weaken it quite a bit for you to have a little extra time to swing the balls to form the force field but again its very difficult. it took me quite awhile to kill the creature and still it was like a constant fight…make sure before going in to face it you have a full life and extras….good luck
