Diablo Psx Emulator

I'm looking for a gaming laptop. Any suggestions?

I want a laptop that could easily handle... I don't know, modern games. I mainly want it for playing FF9 on a psx emulator and diablo 3. I'm also a broke 14 year old and any recommendations for jobs would be appreciated.

Definitely a Dell or an Alienware laptop, but there's no way that a broke 14 year old is going to be able to afford a laptop that can play Diablo 3. They haven't released the minimum system requirements yet, but I can guarantee it's going to be quite a load for the average (and possibly high-end) laptop to play. As for FF9, quite frankly you could buy the game and a PS1 for a fairly cheap price, much cheaper than buying a laptop...

You're asking for a laptop that can "easily" handle modern games... laptops aren't made for that. That's not saying it's not possible, but you're going to have to pay a lot for one. I personally would look at building my own desktop. It's much cheaper, kinda fun if you like that sort of thing, and you can spread out the cost so that it doesn't crush your wallet all at once.

As an example, I built myself a desktop computer with the following:
AMD Phenom II X4 3.2 GHz Quad Core Processor
1 TB Western Digital SATA Hard Drive
2 LightScribe DVD Burners
1 ATI HD RADEON 4650 with 1 GB of GDDR2 Video Memory
4 GB of DDR3 G.SKILL RAM
500 Watt Power Supply

It's running Windows 7 Professional, which I got using a student discount (I happen to be a broke college student.) The whole rig cost me a little less than a thousand dollars. That's not bad. A comparable laptop isn't going to be under $2,000 for a very long time. Now, a thousand dollars still seems like a lot of money, especially to a broke 14 year old, but I find that if you space out your purchases (one week buy a case, two weeks buy a motherboard, then a processor, etc.) it really becomes a lot easier to pay for.

I used to play MML2 back in the day. It's been years, though. I suddenly remembered about it a little while ago and am now downloading it onto my PSX emulator! I can't wait for the nostalgia of playing that incredible game again. I think it's been almost 10 years now. It was a year or two before I got my PS2. Rambling… I don't know why I don't just go out and buy PSX stuff. It's all so cheap now… But some, if not most of the good PSX games are rare or semi-hard to find now-a-days. Well good luck with the Reaverbots and take care.

#4, the DS was not designed to have the clock speed changed in software like the PSP as scaling down the speed is not necessary for extending the very short battery life of the PSP due to moving parts (UMD) etc.#7, not many people although it has become quite popular recently with the PSX emulator hack allowing quite a few games to run perfectly on it.
