Diablo Set Players 8
Does anyone know how to set the number of players in diablo 2?
I know its players 8 or something but i cant remember it and i cant find it again
open the chat box by pressing enter
then type "/players 8" (don't actually put the quotation marks though)
or you can choose any other number from 1-8

Is there a mod to unlock Hell in Diablo 2?
I installed Diablo 2 for the first time in years for the purpose of playing on a lan with some friends. But normal mode was waay too easy when it was just two of us playing (we set player number to 8), and another 2 - 3 want to join too. Is there any way to unlock Hard/Hell without actually playing through the campaign (We're very busy college students who can't spare a few hours to unlock another difficulty)
None that I'm aware of, but you can get through the first difficulty fairly easy... You don't HAVE to do each quest
You could probably find some save files around the net of people's games.. You'll just have to use their character rather then make your own, so that might pose a problem.
