I agree. I haven't really played computer games since Diablo 2 and I was really looking forward to 3, but after seeing gameplay videos I don't think I will be buying this one. David said it right, “Diablo should look and feel diabolic.” It did before, and now it just looks like a cartoon.
The pictures you did are exactly how I would want the game environment to look like. Why is there a blueish tint to everything in the game?
When I was a kid, I played Diablo on a vastly underpowered system. It had some serious heat issues. Eventually, the Diablo disc *deformed* because I insisted on playing it while it was 100+ degrees in the house. The black top of the disc was bubbling when I took it out of the CD tray, and bits of it had shredded off inside the CD-ROM drive. The computer died a few weeks before Diablo 2 came out. I was heartbroken… until my dad came home with a new comp, and Diablo 2, and a kickin’ video card to play it on. My dad was pretty awesome.
