Ladder Characters Diablo 2
What character on Diablo 2 should I make once the ladder resets?
....Well, It's not really me...my brother needs a good Character to be...We've made a team....me, him, and two other guys. I'm going to be a hammerdin, and the other 2 guys are sorcs. Any ideas....and with the answer can you put how much damage they're main skill does with full gear and skills maxed?

Diablo II LoD - How the ladder works @ Level 99 (useless knowledge)
on Diablo 2 what is the difference between a ladder and non ladder character??? 5 pts for best answer?
i ask b/c i use to play about 4 yrs ago and dont remember that.
Ladder is ranked first person to 99 wins pretty much.
Non-Ladder is big it includes all ladders of all times because once a ladder expires it moves on to non-ladder.
In Ladder things are very expensive to get during the first few weeks of playing. Like, soj, hoz, arcane valor, etc go for a lot. Then runeword items start appearing and uniques drop in value rapidly. Same goes for runewords eventually but in a slower manner because it's harder to make them. I bought my infinity (runeword) for my lightning sorc for 8 hrs (high runes), nowadays I could probably get it for 5.
In Ladder everything is much much cheaper. You also have tons of runewords floating around and being traded so you can easily trade multiple high runes for actual runeword items! Ladder is more fun for duelers. However there are some items that you can't find anymore. Also some runewords are unavailable to you too i believe. So if you roll over from ladder to non ladder with those items they are worth considerably more to non ladder people than other runewords. It's a pretty cool system.
