Patch Diablo 1
can diablo 1 work on windows xp?
and what is the patch i should use to make the colours better?
i installed and played diablo 2 without any problems. including poading the extention patches.
I'm not going to be positive, but Diablo 1 *should* run on Windows XP. I've never had an issue installing an older game onto it.
As for the patches, I have no honest idea, and you do have to keep in mind Diablo was released in 1997 (read: over ten years ago) and there may not even be a patch to improve the graphics.
I did check the official site and there is only one patch listed for the game, so I assume that's the one you'd be looking for.

Is Diablo (1,2 or 3) an online game?
I wanted to ask is Diablo is an online game? Do u have to pay monthly like WoW or u just install it and play unlike WoW patches, etc etc. Can someone plz explain me in detail?

yes it is online it uses B-net i think u dont have to pay an online fee u install it tho and all u have to do to create an account is type in your account name password and e-mail and u r good to go
