Diablo Slingshots

how long have slingshots been on sale easily in the uk and should they be banned?
i watched videos of the black widow and pro-diablo slingshots {catapults} they can inflict serious damage and injury due to their sheer velocity.and power from afar. they seem to be more powerfull than an air pistols. They are banned in Holland but here its so easy to buy.
these slingshot catapults can inflict heavy damage and injury if used by criminals and street gangs. it seems they are more powerful than air pistols. They are banned in Holland but not here.
ban them then people will just make their own like they did in the good auld days

Barnett Diablo Slingshot made by Barnett Crossbows - Survival Podcast Review
what is the fastest slingshot on the market?
Looking for someting cheaper than a gun that will help keep squirrels off my garden. People say slingshots will kill them. They also say that they will sometimes even get turkeys in turkey hunting. I am looking for a high velocity slingshot that is fairly accurate. I have heard about two good ones, the FSX-2000 (Trumark) and the Pro Diablo 2 (Barnett). Websites are always helpful too. Thanks
i all depends on your ability to hit the target. all stuff is nonsense, in my opinion. make my own out of just about anything available. i won't bother to write a how-to manual. all that is on the web. give most people a stratavarius violin and they would sound like crap. yet, a great violinist would sound damn good playing anything that can be tuned. you have to have great eyesight and good sense. i think some people just have a talent for it, frankly. but you get a $15 slingshot at walmart that will easily kill a squirrel, birds and small animals. it is all about "instinctive shooting" and that takes a lot of time and practice. if that turns you off, just buy a bb gun to make they scat or a pellet gun if you insist on killing them. i like squirrels. you learn to shoot instictively like you do hitting, pitcing an catching in baseball. you don't aim. they make crap with sights etc. and that is absurd.
