What is the best Char class for Diablo 2???

Plz tel and explain why

It depends on what you want to do in the game.

Paladins are the best for multiplayer, as the majority of their skills are party buffs. Still, a good holy freeze aura paladin can play solo quite well.

Good solo classes for those that want to do the killing themselves are assasin or amazon class. The two both get a powerful summon at level 30. The major difference is in the fighting style: assasins are up close and personal OR hit and run while amazons are all about ranged combat with excelent boosts to critcal rate, dodging, and accuracy. A very skilled lightining amazon can level screens full of enemies with a single cast of a lighting javelin, however this makes them rather unwelcome in truly cooperative play.

More specialized classes are the necromancers and druids. They function like the other classes depending on how you level them up. Druids can become excellent melee fighters, summoners, or act like a soceress. Necromancers are good spell throwers or summoners but always remain comparatively fragile.

I find the socresses too fragile and magic resistant/immune monsters too common in high dificulties to bother.

Barbarians are good all around. Their only main flaws is that their leap attack ability is very hard to use and the class limits you strongly to simply hack and slash. There is no "flash" to the class, so if you want a lot of visual flair look elsewhere.

In all I recomend amazon, as many of her passives as are still potent even when not fighting at range making her fierce even at her weakest.
