Can anyone help me with the no CD patch for Diablo II?
I heard there's a patch that makes it so you don't need the CD anymore, but I don't know where it is, or, if I do have it I don't know what files I need to copy from the CD to my hard drive. I have the expansion as well.
The latest Official patches now has NO-CD built in, so just download the latest patch at www.blizzard.com

where do i put the diablo 2 lod 1.13 patch at?
i got it from this site http://games.softpedia.com/get/Patch/Diablo-2-Lord-of-Destruction-112-Patch.shtml and i cant find out where to put it
Why are you grabbing the patch from there?
Go to Blizzard's website (quick jump -- http://us.blizzard.com/support/article.xml?locale=en_US&articleId=20758&parentCategoryId&pageNumber=1&categoryId=2717 ) to download th patch.
Once downloaded, just double-click to get started. It's just that simple!

Diablo 2. I really struggle to finish hell level with the latest patch. What is the best character and tactics
I have tried every character except assassin. The problem I have is when they start getting immune to physical damage, I know sorcerer would answer this but she still can't seem to get through.
Do you have a hammerdin? hammerdins are the best character in this patch because nothing is immune to them and their damage is 10-15k with good gear. I have a Hammerdin and I can solo Hell and do bug rushes. You should really invest in a hammerdin and get all the good gear"

If you are not really leaning towards this, I would suggest a Lightning sorc with infinty.I also have a lightning sorc and I can solo Hell chaoses. Sorcs and paladins are essentually the easiest characters to build albiet a bit expensive. You can go for the other classes but you must have a really good build and really good gear.

I Finally Found out What the Standard of Heroes does in D2 1.13 PATCH
Diablo II game issues? How to use a game patch!?
I have Windows XP, and I want to play Diablo II, but it says "Windows 2000/98/95/NT Macintosh" on the CD-ROM. So I installed it anyways, and it loads, but after I type in my characters name it goes to the loading screen with a hooded person standing in front of a big building with light coming out of the doorway and it freezes there.
I downloaded the Diablo II Game Patch from Blizzard Ent. but its still doing the same thing.
Any computer geeks out there know how to fix this?
basically how to run a game not made for XP, on XP. lol
XP is pretty friendly for older games so I dont know if that would be the problem. Figure out what video card you have and go to their website and make sure you have the most up to date software for the device. This is known to fix many computer game issues

How do I get Diablo 2 to run without crashing?
I just installed Diablo 2 (w/o expansion). I am using vista and have downloaded the latest patch from Blizzard. When I start the game, after 15 seconds the computer restarts itself. Please help!
Make sure you update your BIOS and Video Card drivers most of the time thats the problem and if that doesnt fix it your comp might be overheating and rebooting

I got a patch for diablo 2 lord of destruction, so how do i use it on the game.
Hey, I remember you from the last question.
Anyway, just run the executable. Once you're in the actual game, bring up the map and the version shoud show correctly in the top right corner.

Diablo 2 Patch For Vista Signing Sheet. 2 points to put your name!?
Ok so the problem is there is no patch for diablo 2 to run correctly on Vista. I am trying to get as many names as possible to send to blizzard to show them people still play diablo 2. Please help me out I would really appreciate it.
