Activision - blizzards shares after release of future games?
Not having much experience in shares i was wondering what do you think is likely to happen to activision blizzard's share prices after the release of future games such as wrath of the lich king starcraft 2 and diablo 3 and if it would be beneficial to buy stock now and sell it shortly after the release of one of these games ?
if you are looking for long term investment ( more than 1 year ) then Its a good buy, but the share price won't jump quickly when these games are released. Corporations announce their earnings every quarter. so 1 quarter after the released of Diablo 3, Blizzard will make lots of money and the share price should go up.
However, I'm still worried about the Stock Market because of the Mortgage problem. Banks still have a lot of bad debt ( debt that will not be recover ) to write off and I'm talking about 70+ billion dollars. So I'm always afraid that the Stock Market would collapse one day.
If you don't have experience buying and selling shares, I advise you not to put your money in the Stock Market so you dont get your fingers burned
